Shep, un pilota spaziale innamorato della bassista Stella, li segue fin sulla Terra. Riprogrammati per dimenticare le loro vere identità e rinominati in The Crescendolls, il gruppo anche qui guadagna in poco tempo un enorme successo grazie al loro pop. Ad un concerto, Shep riesce a liberare tutti i musicisti ad esclusione di Stella, e i membri della band cominciano così sia a riscoprire chi sono veramente, sia a pensare ad un piano per liberare la compagna.
